Version control

Learn how to use Version control to save the current state of your bot’s cognitive flow, question answering, conversation triggers, and entities.

This feature lets the bot administrators create, restore and delete a version of the bot that contains the saved state of the bot’s cognitive flow, question answering, conversation triggers, and entities.

Important: Only users with the Administrators role will see the the Version control tab. Non-administrators will not see the Version control tab.

Create a version

To create a new version of the bot click the Create a version button.

Tip: NativeChat allows upto 10 stored versions of the bot. If your bot already has 10 stored versions and you want to create a new version, you have to delete an existing version first.

Edit version

You can edit the notes of the saved version.

Restore

To restore to a specific version, click on the Restore button.
